The Mound Wiki (themoundwiki.online) is a free, independent, fan-made game wiki. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to understand what's useful and keep the site running, and we never collect names, emails or accounts, or sell any personal data. This page explains what is collected and the choices you have.
Analytics
We use privacy-respecting analytics (Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity) to measure aggregate traffic — which pages are visited and roughly where visitors come from. These services may set cookies and process anonymised usage data. They do not identify you personally.

To keep the wiki free, we may display ads served by Google AdSense and other third-party advertising vendors.

Consent (EEA, UK & Switzerland)
Analytics here is anonymous and aggregate. For personalised advertising, visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent; anyone can decline via the cookie banner or opt out through the links above, and change or withdraw that choice at any time in their browser. When we enable ads, personalised ads for EEA/UK/CH visitors will run through a Google-certified consent platform.
Declining is not cosmetic. This site runs Google Consent Mode v2 with every storage category — analytics, ad storage, ad personalisation and ad user data — defaulting to deniedbefore any tag loads. Microsoft Clarity has no consent mode, so it is not loaded at all unless you accept. Choosing Accept updates those signals immediately; choosing Decline leaves them denied. Clearing this site's data in your browser resets the choice and brings the banner back.
US state privacy rights (California and others)
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising in exchange for money. Residents of California (CCPA/CPRA) and of other US states with comparable laws — including Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and Utah — have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion or correction, to opt out of targeted advertising and any sale or sharing, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights.
To exercise any of them, use the opt-out controls linked above (which take effect immediately and require no request), decline in the cookie banner, or email us at hello@themoundwiki.online and we will respond within the period the applicable law requires. We honour Global Privacy Control signals where your browser sends them. Because this site does not require an account, the personal information we hold is limited to the analytics and advertising identifiers described above.
Data we do not collect
We do not run accounts, logins, newsletters or e-commerce. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and we do not sell or share personal data with third parties except the analytics and advertising services described above.
