Lost Explorers' Swords Pack

Two ornate rapier cosmetics, free for everyone who buys in the first two weeks after launch — with one catch that will cost careless buyers the pack: you have to claim it manually.

Last updated 2026-07-25 · Patch patch 1.01

The Lost Explorers' Swords Pack — a pair of ornate rapier skins styled as relics of the expeditions that didn't make it home — started life as the pre-order bonus, but Nacon upgraded it into an early adopters bonus: it's free for every player who buys the game during the first two weeks after the July 15 launch. They are cosmetics for existing sword-class weapons: no stats, no rank shortcuts, no gameplay edge. The theme fits the game's grimmest running joke, since out in the jungle you regularly meet the previous lost explorers personally.

The catch: claim it manually

Nacon's announcement is explicit — the pack must be claimed manually from the store page; it will not be added to your account automatically. Buy the game, then go back to the store listing and claim the DLC as a free add-on. If you skip that step, no swords. This is the single easiest thing to miss on launch day.

How to get it

  • Anyone, any platform: buy the game (standard or Deluxe) within the first two weeks after July 15, then manually claim the free DLC from the store page.
  • Pre-orderers: you qualify automatically for the window — console pre-orders also run about 10% off ($26.99 standard / $35.99 Deluxe), and a wishlist-milestone launch discount may stack on top.
  • Deluxe Edition buyers: you get this pack plus the separate Abyssal Gear cosmetics — they don't overlap.

The fine print

After the two-week window closes, Nacon hasn't said whether the pack will be sold separately — with most of their releases, launch cosmetics either stay exclusive or reappear months later in a bundle. The safe assumption: two weeks from July 15 is the real deadline. Physical edition pre-orders include a voucher for the same content (note the physical edition itself slipped to August 6).

Swords pack questions

What's in the Lost Explorers' Swords Pack?

Two ornate cosmetic rapier skins for The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu. Purely visual — no stat changes or unlock shortcuts.

How do I get the Lost Explorers' Swords Pack?

Buy the game (any edition, any platform) within the first two weeks after the July 15 launch, then claim the pack manually from the store page as a free DLC. It is NOT added to your account automatically.

Is the swords pack still available after launch?

Yes — for two weeks. Nacon made it an early-adopters bonus: free for every buyer in the first two weeks after July 15. After that window, no standalone release has been announced.

Why don't I have the swords after buying the game?

You have to claim the DLC manually from the store page — Nacon's announcement is explicit that it won't be granted automatically. Go back to the store listing and add the free DLC.

Is it included in the Deluxe Edition?

Deluxe buyers qualify the same way (buy within two weeks, claim manually), and separately get the Abyssal Gear Pack — the two packs don't overlap.
